Our History

New Horizons has been an integral part of the Southern Illinois health care community since 1984:

• Affiliated with the Carbondale Clinic, Carbondale, Illinois, for 18 years
• Established in 2001 as an independent provider of OB/GYN services with an emphasis on the whole discipline of women's health care
• Professional staff with a collective 35 years of experience tempered with an understanding and special focus on women's unique medical challenges
• More than 8,000 babies delivered since 1984
• Active supporters of Southern Illinois organizations for the arts and community service, including the WSIU Public Broadcasting stations

Today and in the future, New Horizons will continue to strive for excellence in serving our patients Carbondale and the surrounding Southern Illinois communities.
