Leah (she/her) is a licensed marriage and family therapist who believes that relational and mental health are essential to well-being and wants to create a positive space where you can work towards your goals. She is passionate about working with couples to improve their relationships and work through their difficulties.
A New Hampshire native, Leah studied Sociology and Psychology at Bowdoin College and received a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies: Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of New Hampshire. She completed training with Postpartum Support International for certification in perinatal mental health and is trained in cognitive processing therapy and Gottman couples therapy (level 2).
Leah’s clinical specialties and areas of experience include life transitions, relationship conflicts, providing LGBTQ+ inclusive and culturally competent therapy, peripartum mental health, and anxiety. Leah takes a collaborative approach to therapy that focuses on client goals, helping you recognize and change patterns and make decisions that are aligned with your values.
Leah has helped many couples and individuals with making decisions about having children, the transition to parenthood, and healing from difficult pregnancies and birth experiences.
In her free time, Leah enjoys reading, cooking, drinking tea, and spending time with friends, family, and her cat, Perry.
