Ob-Gyn

Raised in Macon, Georgia, Andre Bobo knew at a young age that he wanted to become a physician. Andre graduated from Clemson University and Morehouse School of Medicine. As he completed medical school, his passion for surgery, obstetrics and infants became apparent.  Andre completed his OB/GYN residency at Hutzel Women’s Hospital/Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. Dr. Bobo provided women’s health services in the Metro Detroit Community for almost 20 years. Because of his great bedside manner and calm demeanor, Dr. Bobo is loved by his patients, colleagues and nursing staff. Teaching comes naturally to Andre, and he was awarded “Clinical Attending of Year” by the WSU OB/GYN residents several times. His primary interests include routine and high-risk obstetrics and gynecologic surgeries.  Dr. Bobo decided to relocate to Carbondale, Illinois in May of 2015 where he joined New Horizons Obstetrics & Gynecology.  He continues his passion of delivering babies and doing all kinds of OB/GYN surgeries.

In his spare time, Andre is an avid sports fan. He enjoys watching all types of sports but he especially loves watching college and professional football. GO COWBOYS!
